Paul Ayers Jr.
Former Celina resident Paul E. Ayers Jr., 43, of Edgewater, Fla., died Aug. 22, 2007, at Halifax Health Medical Center, Daytona Beach, Fla., following a truck-bus accident in Florida.
He was born April 5, 1964, in Oxnard, Calif., to Paul E. and Alma McDonald Ayers. His father and stepmother, Martha, survive in Alabama. His mother is deceased.
Surviving are a son, Ricky, of Wisconsin; a daughter, Paula, of Wisconsin; a half brother, Jim Dutton, New Smyrna Beach, Fla.; a half sister, Patty Stout, Edgewater; and a grandchild.
Deceased is a half sister, Cynthia.
He was formerly a local auctioneer, had worked at Advanced Auto in Celina, Wapakoneta and Edgewater, and was a security officer at a race track in Barberville. He was a member of New Start Community Fellowship Church, Celina, and Crossroads Baptist Church, Port Orange, Fla.
There are no services. Burial is in Iowa.
Arrangements were handled by Alavon Direct Cremation Service, South Daytona, Fla.
