* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Ruth Pierstorff
Ruth P. Pierstorff, 88, of Wapakoneta, died at 6:32 p.m. Aug. 30, 2007, at The Gardens of Wapakoneta.
She was born Oct. 8, 1918, in Mercer County, to Joseph and Jennie Hone Baucher. On April 25, 1938, she married Dale E. Pierstorff, who died Aug. 29, 1971.
Surviving are a daughter, Jean (Dennis) DeLong, Wapakoneta; two daughters-in-law, Betty, Howell, Mich., and Shirley Ratzmann, Fremont; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Dean; a brother, Donald Baucher; and a sister, Wanda Cramer.
She was a homemaker and a switchboard operator at Lima Memorial Hospital. Prior to that she worked at Lima Ordnance Depot. She was a graduate of Rockford High School and a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lima.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Bayliff & Eley Funeral Home, Wapakoneta. Burial is at St. Matthews Cemetery, near Cridersville.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
