* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Richard Martin
Richard Joseph Martin Sr., 54, 227 S. Sugar St., Celina, died at 8:55 p.m. Sept. 4, 2007, at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center, Defiance. Death was due to natural causes.
He was born July 7, 1953, in Celina, to Walter and Laurana Jones Martin, who are both deceased.
Surviving are a son, Richard J. Jr., Detroit, Mich.; a daughter, Luisa, Polk City, Fla.; two brothers, Fred (Maggie) Maupin of Washington and James Lee (Linda) of Colorado; and two grandchildren.
He was self-employed as a dry wall finisher. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, attended Celina High School and was a member of Celina Moose Lodge 1473.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at W. H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Richard R. Riedel officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
