Shades of the past, like this scene from a 1912 postcard, will return to the banks of the Miami and Erie Canal in New Bremen following the announcement a lock tender's house will be built with $479,600 in transportation enhancement grant money from the Ohio Department of Transportation and $90,000 in matching money from the New Bremen Historic Association. The announcement of New Bremen's selection came this morning.
