Mitch Hess, wildlife biologist for Mercer and Auglaize counties, and Laura Walker, coordinator of the Grand Lake/Wabash Watershed Alliance look at two Geotubes at the Ivo Post farm near Maria Stein on Thursday. The devices, used to separate manure from water, were on view as part of a conservation tour sponsored by the Mercer County Soil and Water Conservation District. The Mercer County site is just one of two places in the world where the devices are being tested in four different areas.
