* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Joy Pierstorff
Former Rockford resident Joy Pierstorff, 82, of Fort Wayne, Ind., died Sept. 21, 2007, at Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis, Ind.
She was born Aug. 14, 1925, in Fort Wayne, to Henry and Grace Jackson Henderson. On Jan. 1, 1944, she married Harold C. Pierstorff, who died May 30, 2006.
Surviving are a daughter, Virginia (James) Westerfield, Fort Wayne; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Gary.
She was a homemaker and helped with farming. She was a member of St. John Lutheran Hopewell Church, Celina, and Life Bridge Church, Fort Wayne.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Celina church, the Revs. Deb Domeier and Bill Campbell officiating. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is 10-11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
