* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

William Smith
William D. Smith, 87, of Fort Wayne, Ind., died Oct. 5, 2007, at Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
He was born June 13, 1920, in Blanchard Twp., to W. Earl and Imo Ridge Smith. His first wife, Geraldine "Gerry" Stienke, died in 1979. On Oct. 23, 1981, he married Nancy Parrot, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Jeff (Jacqueline), Fort Wayne, and James; four stepsons, Mark (Amber) Caesar and Gregory (Amy) Caesar, all of Fort Wayne, Thomas Caesar of Oklahoma, and Frederick (Miao) Caesar of Missouri; two sisters, Betty Weiman and Mabel (Olen) Amstutz, all of Ohio; a brother, Richard (Bonnie), of Ohio; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was the owner of Wells Street Hardware from 1950 to 1998. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II with the 403rd Troop Carrier Group.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at D.O. McComb & Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne, with a graveside service to follow at 3:30 p.m. Burial is at Mercer Memory Gardens, Celina.
Calling is after 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
