Viola Bergman
Viola Bergman, 90, 18244 Auglaize-Mercer County Line Road, Celina, died at 3:45 p.m. Oct. 13, 2007, at her home.
She was born July 13, 1917, in McCartyville, to John and Catherine Prenger Frilling. On Feb. 14, 1953, she married Norbert Bergman, who died Dec. 9, 2002.
Surviving are two sons, John (Karen), Celina, and James (Donna), Marlboro, Conn.; a daughter, Cathy, Celina; and five grandchildren.
Deceased are eight brothers, Leo, Charles, Bernard, Aloys, Ray, Julius, Clarence and Lawrence Frilling; and a sister, Margaret Farno.
She was a homemaker and assisted on the family farm. She attended Minster High School and was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys, its Altar Sodality and the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, Wapakoneta.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. Anthony Cutcher officiating. Burial is at Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Contributions can be made to the endowment fund of the church.
