Rain will change over to snow showers late this afternoon. While the snow is not expected to accumulate more than one to two tenths of an inch in snow showers, slick spots will be possible this evening and into the overnight hours.

David Hein
David A. "Dave" Hein, 52, 2767 state Route 705, New Weston, died at 3:08 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2007, at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus, following a short illness.
He was born March 5, 1955, in Celina, to Mark and Irene Kaup Hein who survive in Coldwater. On Sept. 14, 1974, he married Cheryl Kunkler who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Tracy Hein-Evers (Mike), Christy Hein-Poeppelman and Lisa (Kimo) Bechtol, all of Fort Recovery, and Rachel of New Weston; three brothers, Dan (Joyce) of New Weston, Tim (Laurie) of Portland, Ind., and Mike (Joyce) of St. Henry; five sisters, Kathy (Ralph) Bihn, of Fort Loramie, Sharon (Dan) Wellman, of Coldwater, Karen (John) Wenning, Centerville, Mary Lou (Brad) Daniels, of Portland, and Theresa (Dan) Wendel, of Fort Recovery; and four grandchildren.
A brother Joseph died in infancy.
He worked as a mechanic at Fort Recovery Equity Exchange Co. and was engaged in farming. A 1973 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, he was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Sharpsburg, and Sons of the American Legion Post 345 and Knights of Columbus Council 3324, both of Fort Recovery.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Charles Mullen officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Brockman & Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
