The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Edward Swink
Edward H. "Bud" Swink, 87, 79 W. Second St., Minster, died at 11:31 p.m. Dec. 7, 2007, at Heritage Manor Nursing Home, Minster.
He was born May 28, 1920, in Wapakoneta, to Ralph and Johanna Jacobs Swink. On May 13, 1950, he married Norma A. Bills, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Gary (Peg), Lansdale, Pa., and Tom (Amy), Lexington, Ky.; three daughters, Connie (Bruce) Kane, Marco Island, Fla., Kathy and Pam (Ed) Blake, all of Cincinnati; 10 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Deceased are a son, Michael; and a sister, Bonnie Jolissaint.
He retired from Minster Machine Co. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, the Minster Civic Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Knights of Columbus, both of Minster, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Funeral Mass is 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating. Burial will be at a later date at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. today and 9-9:45 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
