Robert Green
Robert F. Green, 71, 6459 Oregon Road, Celina, died Dec. 20, 2007, at St. Rita's Medical Center, Lima.
He was born Aug. 26, 1936, in Pineville, Ky., to Melvin and Edith Hensley Green. On May 13, 1961, he married Freda Cain, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Ron (Cindy), Celina; two daughters, Jeanette (Henry) Johnson, Geneva, Ind., and Karen Kay (Gary Leo) Hierholzer, Celina; three sisters, Marie (Richard) Skiles, Boise, Idaho, Josie Lee Baer, Van Nuys, Calif., and Dorothy Alice Witten, Troy; and nine grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, John; and two sisters, Irene Borgart and Doris Ann Green.
He worked at the former Avco New Idea plant in Coldwater for 44 years. A 1956 graduate of Celina High School, he was retired from the U.S. Air Force, serving in Turkey and San Antonio, Texas. He was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and Mount Zion United Methodist Church, both of Celina.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Bruce Strine officiating. Burial is at North Grove Cemetery, Celina.
There are no calling hours.
