Steven Braun
Coldwater native Steven A. Braun, 44, of Portland, Ind., died at 2 p.m. Dec. 31, 2007, as a result of a tree cutting accident at his Jay County, Ind., farm.
He was born Aug. 17, 1963, in Coldwater, to Ivo and Eloise Barhorst Braun. His father survives in Portland. On Feb. 8, 1992, he married Patricia Fullenkamp, who survives.
Also surviving are five daughters, Kimberly, Jennifer, Rachel, Ashley and Kelsey, all at home; two brothers, Tom (Lisa), Fort Recovery, and Fred, Portland; a sister, Connie (Jerry) Kohn, Philothea; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Dottie Fullenkamp, Fort Recovery.
A brother, Ronnie, is deceased.
He was a farmer, a beekeeper and an employee of Elkhart Products, Geneva, Ind. A 1981 graduate of Jay County High School, he was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bryant, Ind., and president of St. Joseph Men's Sodality there.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. David Hoying officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday and 9-9:45 a.m. Friday at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery.
