The combination of low level moisture and light winds will be favorable for fog development this afternoon. The fog, possibly dense at times, will last at least into this evening before some improvement occurs as a deepening area of low pressure ripples northeast through the region.
Motorists should expected visibilities to lower this afternoon with low visibilities continuing into this evening. Visibility may be reduced to a quarter mile or less at times. Be prepared to slow down, allow extra time to reach your destination, and keep your low beam headlights on.

Injury accident

A heavily damaged 2003 Dodge Caravan awaits a tow truck following an accident at 9:17 a.m. Wednesday along St. Joe Road, west of Erastus-Durbin Road. Nancy J. Figel, 59, 2368 St. Joe Road, Fort Recovery, struck a parked 1986 Chevy truck while driving eastbound. Mark J. Schoenherr, 49, 2329 state Route 119, Fort Recovery, had parked the vehicle at the bottom of a hill and gone into a nearby woods. Figel and a passenger, 10-year-old Tristin J. Kunkler, of Portland, Ind., were taken by ambulance to Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater. Schoenherr was cited for parking on the roadway and his truck sustained moderate damage, according to Mercer County Sheriff's Office reports.
