Slippery walk

Former St. Marys resident Jim Puthoff, now of Grove City, grew up not far from the second beach on the northeast section of Grand Lake. He visited home during the weekend and took his daughters, Anna, 7, and Rylee, 5, for a walk on the beach. The surprise was that the beach was under about 5 inches of frozen water.
