* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Eugene Dues
Eugene "Gene" Dues, 87, 3618 state Route 118, Coldwater, died at 2:33 p.m. March 12, 2008, at Mercer County Community Hospital, Coldwater.
He was born Feb. 1, 1921, in Philothea, to Ben H. and Catherine Schoenlein Dues. On April 23, 1955, he married Rita Bruns, who died Feb. 14, 1978.
Survivors are two sons, Dan (Ginny), and Donald, all of Coldwater; a daughter, Mary Ann, Coldwater; three sisters, Evelyn (Clete) Woeste, Maria Stein, and Mary Wellman and Lucille (Dennis) Jansen, all of Coldwater; two sisters-in-law, Betty (Gene) East, Tipp City, and Helen Dues, St. Henry; and four grandchildren.
Deceased are a daughter, Teresa; two brothers, Walter and Melvin; and a brother-in-law, Bill Wellman.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Mercer County Farm Bureau, Mercer County Guernsey Association, N.A.I.M. of the North (widow and widowers) Club, St. Marys Catholic Church, Philothea, and its Men's Holy Name Society.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Richard Walling officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
