Jessie Hahnert
Jessie P. Hahnert, 91, of Huntington, Ind., died at 11:30 p.m. March 13, 2008, at The Heritage of Huntington Nursing Center.
She was born Jan. 25, 1917, in Willshire to Abe and Hyla Dellinger Bienz. On June 27, 1936, she married Felix Wayne Hahnert, who died May 14, 2000.
Survivors are two sons, Michael J., Cookeville, Tenn., and Richard D., Kendallville, Ind.; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Clarence, Kermit and Kenneth Bienz, and four sisters, Daisy Medaugh, Crystal Johnson, Mary Leaser and Bessie White.
She was a 1935 graduate of Willshire High School and a 1936 graduate of Warner Beauty College, Fort Wayne, Ind. She was a member of Clear Creek Home Economics Club of Huntington.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Myers Funeral Home Huntington Chapel, the Rev. Matthew Hahnert officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
