The overgrown Miami and Erie Canal, located along Canal Road in Minster, remains a source of concern for residents and village officials alike. With Minster neither owning its stretch nor having a lease management agreement, the likelihood of obtaining grants is slim, according to Mayor Dennis Kitzmiller.
