* WHAT...Dangerously hot conditions with heat index values up to 104 possible.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Tuesday evening.
* IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Consecutive days of excessive heat and humidity combined with very warm low temperatures can be especially hazardous as the overnight hours provide little relief from the heat. The heat may continue into Wednesday.

Vera Hageman
Vera Geneva "Penny" Hageman, 84, of Celina, died at 8:45 p.m. April 2, 2008, at a daughter's home in Celina.
She was born Aug. 28, 1923, in Cridersville, to Lawrence W. and Ruth L. Kendal Smitley. On Dec. 24, 1942, she married Donald Eugene Hageman, who died Sept. 11, 1993.
Survivors are a son, Donald E. Jr., Celina; four daughters, Jacqueline A. (Timothy) Duffy, Lima, Linda M. (Tim) Carey, Donna J. Stauffer and Carol G. (Jesse) Garcia, all of Celina; 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Aaron Smitley; and a sister, Wanda Bustard.
She worked for Woolworth's, Grant's and K-Mart and served seven years as manager of Williamsburg Square Apartments in Celina.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Tony Richmond officiating. Burial is at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
