Scattered snow showers occurring across the area will slowly diminish through the evening. These snow showers will continue to cause brief reductions in visibility. In addition, as temperatures fall, the snow showers could produce a light coating of snow on roadways. This will result in the potential for some slick spots to develop. Motorists should be prepared for changing conditions this evening and exercise extra caution.

Toadstools have been sprouting up all over Mercer County, thanks to the recent springs rains. In this instance, the blooming Lily of the Valley makes a delightful backdrop. Weather forecaster Harold Howick is calling for additional rain this week and weekend.
