The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued a statewide Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to adversely impact air quality.
Pollutants across the state are expected to range from the 'Unhealthy For Sensitive Groups' category in the southwest part of the state to the 'Unhealthy' category in the rest of the state. Hourly concentrations at times may reach the 'Very Unhealthy' to 'Hazardous' categories.
It is recommended, when possible, to avoid strenuous outdoor activities, especially those with heart disease and respiratory conditions like asthma. Watch for symptoms including wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, dizziness, or burning in the nose, throat, and eyes.

Robert Hegemier
Robert Hegemier, 80, 8471 U.S. 33, Celina, died at 8:56 a.m. May 30, 2008, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
He was born Oct. 16, 1927, in Celina, to Harvey and Helen Dickman Hegemier. On Feb. 16, 1960, he married Mildred Marlow, who survives.
Other survivors are a son, Dale (Christina), Pandora; two daughters, Karen and LuAnn, both of Celina; a stepson, Conley (Edith) Parker, Clearfield, Tenn.; a stepdaughter, Marilyn (Lamar) Carver, Jacksboro, Tenn.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Rachel.
He was a retired farmer and truck driver. A 1945 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School, he was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, St. Marys.
Services are 2 p.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Bill Maki officiating. Burial is at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
