* WHERE...The following counties, in Indiana, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, the following counties, in Kentucky, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and the following counties, in Ohio, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Maria R. Evers
Maria Stein resident Marie R. Evers, 82, 1929 Cassella-Montezuma Road, died at 7:15 a.m. June 20, 2008, at Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater.
She was born May 21, 1926 in Cassella to Henry and Pauline Koesters Vondrell. On Nov. 4, 1950, she married Anthony J. Evers, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons: Gene (Sharon) and Rick (Brenda), all of Maria Stein; a daughter, Janice (Bill) Rethman, Fort Loramie; two brothers: Marinus Vondrell, Coldwater, and Leon Vondrell, Fort Recovery; a sister, Delma (Wilfred) Depweg, Coldwater; two sisters-in-law, Louise Vondrell, Cincinnati, and Pat Vondrell, Dayton; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers: Eugene, Urban and Luke Vondrell and two sisters-in-law, Rosie and Rita Vondrell.
A homemkaer, she was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Cassella, its Ladies' Sodality and Catholic Knights, Cassella.
Service is 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church, the Rev. Ken Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Monday and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
