Greg Nietfeld, a member of the Marion Athletic Boosters, checks out a batch of french fries fresh from the fryer at the 21st annual Maria Stein Country Fest. The weekend event, held on the grounds of the Maria Stein Shrine of the Holy Relics, drew thousands of visitors for a veritable smorgasbord of food, entertainment and fun.
