* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Lois Engel
Lois J. Engel, 99, of 205 N. Front St., St. Marys, died at 9:45 a.m. July 7, 2008, at the Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community.
She was born Feb. 23, 1909, in Salem Township, Auglaize County, to Everett and Christina "Tina" Henne Miller. On July 1, 1937, she married William E. Engel, who died March 25, 2003.
Survivors are two daughters, Sandra (Lee) Clausing and Rebecca (John) Davis, all of St. Marys; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers, Ray and Howard Miller; and two sisters, Bernice Settlemire and Marie Wright.
She was a licensed beautician who operated the Lois Beauty Shop in St. Marys for 78 years. She was a member of the St. Paul's United Church of Christ in St. Marys, the National Hairdressers' Association, and served on the board of the American Cancer Society in Auglaize County for 20 years. She was selected as the "Woman of the Year" by the St. Marys Community League of Women in 2003.
Services are 11 a.m. Thursday at the Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Ed Bray officiating. Burial is at the Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Contributions can be made to the church or the Auglaize County Cancer Association.
