Riding a pony can be a hair-raising experience at the Burkettsville Community Picnic. Emily Pierre, 2, of Yorkshire, pats a wayward lock in place as she rides around the circular course aboard a trusty steed. The event began Friday night and continued through 7 p.m. Sunday at the local park.
