Run for the Fallen
Photo by Mark Pummell/The Daily Standard

Residents run down Main Street in Celina on Sunday as part of the national Run for the Fallen in support of service people killed during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. The national event was a cross country run that began June 14 in California and covered more than 4,000 miles and 13 states, ending Sunday at Arlington National Cemetery. As part of the final leg of the run to Arlington on Sunday, runners across the country were encouraged to run in honor of the fallen soldiers.
