Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Sarah Granger
Sarah M. "Sally" Granger, 84, died Oct. 6, 2008, at the Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.
She was born July 8, 1924, in Mercer County, to Harry and Ada Smith Ellis. On Sept. 21, 1946, she married William F. "Bill" Granger, who died Nov. 21, 2005.
Surviving are a son, Bruce A. (Jill), Rawson; a daughter, Connie Sue (Michael) Combs, Beavercreek; three brothers, Chalmer Ellis, St. Clair, Mich., Orval Ellis, St. Marys, and Vearl Ellis, Van Wert; three sisters, Betty (Norman) Schroeder, Midland, Mich., Dorothy Anderson, Bluffton, and Marjorie (Russell) Poor, Hoagland, Ind.; a grandchild, a stepgrandchild and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Deceased are two brothers Leonard and Kenneth Ellis; and a sister, Crystal Sherman.
Services are 10 a.m. Friday at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay, the Rev. Bill Herr officiating. Burial is at Hassan Cemetery, Van Buren Township, Hancock County.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
