COLDWATER - The bumpy ground behind the old Smith School isn't as inviting these days to the students who once slung acorns and played Fox and Goose on the 'ole playground.

ROCKFORD - Tammy Barlage has had some down days since being locked out from her job at Kongsberg Automatic in Van Wert six months ago. But, overall, this single mom is keeping busy and is grateful, even as the lockout shows no sign of ending.
Residents in the village of Montezuma will be voting on Nov. 4 on a new assessment to cover the costs of street lights in the village.
