Flu vaccine

William Hornberger, 66, of Celina receives a flu shot from public health nurse Sara Beiler during the first drive-through clinic held at the Mercer County Fairgrounds on Wednesday. Nurses distributed 107 flu and pneumonia vaccines during the event and 87 on Tuesday at the office. Besides giving shots, health officials used the opportunity to try new equipment such as the "swiper," which uses a person's driver's license to gather data. The information then could be used in the event the local area experiences a mass outbreak or pandemic incident.
