Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Catherine Sheaks
Catherine S. Sheaks, 92, 917 Hager St., St. Marys, died Oct. 16, 2008, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 20, 1915, in Robinson, Ill., to George and Mary Howell Sheaks.
Surviving is a sister, Annabelle Burden, Wapakoneta.
Deceased are four brothers, Seymour, Harry, Carlos Sheaks and Oliver Abbot; four sisters, Bessie Rush, Ethel, Marie Cotterman and Ida May.
She retired from the former Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company, St. Marys, after 30 years.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys, the Rev. Tim Smith officiating.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. today at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys.
