Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Martha Kunkler
Martha Kunkler, 78, 2787 Coldwater Creek Road, St. Henry, died at 10:28 p.m. Oct. 21, 2008, at the Gardens at Celina.
She was born Nov. 26, 1929, in Dayton, to Norbert and Lillian Wright Frantz. On Oct. 21, 1950, she married Ted Kunkler, who died April 26, 2005.
Surviving are four daughters, Linda Mackey, Celina, Sharon (Fred) Ranly and Sandy (Fred) Schmitmeyer all of St. Henry, and Michelle (Andrew) Cordonnier, Mason; two sons, Terry (Susan), Fort Recovery; and Patrick (Julie), Crescent Springs, Ky.; two sisters, Norma (Clete) Bettinger, Coldwater, and Patricia (Jerry) Bruggeman, Greenville; a brother, Norbert (Jackie) Frantz, Union City, Ind.; a brother-in-law, Melvin (Peg) Bergman, Fort Recovery; 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Emerita Bergman and Millie Lee.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Carthagena, and its ladies sodality.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church,the Rev. Tom Hemm officating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-7 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
