A Knight to Remember in Minster
Photo by Shelley Grieshop/The Daily Standard
Fifth- and sixth-grade students from St. Henry and Minster middle schools dress according to the medieval era during "A Knight to Remember" program held at Minster Local Schools on Monday night. A meal fitting of the time was served including "trenchers" (beef stew on bread), vegetables, salad and desserts. Students were knighted, played games and provided entertainment to their parents in attendance. Pictured, Minster schools Superintendent Gayl Ray, St. Henry schools Superintendent Rod Moorman, and Minster schools board of education member Kurt Forsthoefel enjoy the meal.
