Celina High School student council President Kirsten Samples, right, and Adam Burleson of Allied Waste put recycling boxes in the high school last week. For the first time ever, a recycling program has been implemented at the high school. The student council partnered with Mercer County Solid Waste District, which donated recycling bins for each classroom, and Allied Waste, which donated recycling boxes for the hallways. Allied Waste also will remove the materials each week.
