Justin Slone
St. Marys native Justin "Bud" Slone, 31, 8487 South Bronze Lane, Highlands Ranch, Colo., died at 8:35 a.m. Nov. 5, 2008, in the emergency department of Littleton Adventist Hospital, Littleton, Colo., after suffering an aortic aneurysm.
He was born Nov. 21, 1976, in St. Marys, to Michael and Deborah Wilder Slone. His mother, now Deborah Hower, survives in Wapakoneta.
Also surviving are two sisters: Monica Puckett, Lansing, Mich., Jessica (Chris) Sims, Kissimee, Fla; a half-sister, Laura Hower, Wapakoneta; a half-brother, Jarad Post, Akron; three stepbrothers: Joshua, Joseph and Jonathan Hower, all of Wapakoneta; his grandmothers, Bertha Wilder, Van Wert, and Shelby Roller, St. Marys.
Deceased are his father, and grandfathers, Terrell Wilder and Raymond Roller.
A 1995 graduate of Wapakoneta High School, he had worked in restaurant management and was currently involved in construction work.
Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Alva Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Condolences may be conveyed to the family via millerfuneralhomes.net.
