* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Larry Drees
Former Mercer County resident, Larry Drees, 72, of Fort Wayne, Ind. and Goodyear, Ariz., died Nov. 15, 2008, at Hospice Center in Goodyear from complications of a stroke.
He was born March 14, 1936, to Anthony and Sophia Hartings Drees. In 1991, he married Sandy Feasby, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Daniel (Michelle), Yorktown, Ind., and Dale (Maureen), Greensboro, N.C.; two daughters, Carol (Shri) Hedge, St. Louis, Mo. and Diana (Scott) Schowe, Auburn, Ind.; a brother, Walter (Paulette), DeMotte, Ind.; four sisters, Rose Gruss, Coldwater, Bernie Wendel, New Weston, Dorothy (Robert) Kanney, St. Henry, and Regina Wendel, Fort Recovery.
Deceased are a brother, Clem; a sister, Marietta Mueller; and four brothers-in-law, Henry Mueller, Vic Gruss, and Arthur and Ermin Wendel.
He was a CPA in Ft. Wayne, Ind. for 40 years.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of the Covenant United Methodist Church, Fort Wayne, the Rev. Jack Scott officiating.
Calling is 7-9 p.m. Thursday and 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday at D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, Fort Wayne. Burial is at Highland Park Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
