Charles Myers
Former West Milton resident Charles Wesley Myers, 86, of Celina, died at 7:45 p.m. Dec. 2, 2008, at Briarwood Manor, Coldwater.
He was born May 28, 1922, in Phillipsburg, to Jesse Adams and Ruth Harriett Saylor Myers. On Dec. 7, 1995, he married Phyllis Thompson Myers, who survives.
Other survivors are a daughter, Marsha Kendall, West Milton; three stepdaughters, Debbie Oaks, Union, Michele Waymire, West Milton, Carla Waters, Middletown; two stepsons, Bob Hangen, West Milton, and Mike Hangen, Celina; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, stepgrandchildren and great-stepgrandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Wesley "Skip"; and a brother, John.
He retired from Bendix Aircraft of California, and was a member of the West Milton Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving aboard the U.S.S. Arkansas BB-33.
Services are noon Saturday at Hale-Sarver Funeral Home, West Milton, the Rev. John Johansen officiating.
Calling is 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at the funeral home.
