Submitted Photo
An orange glow greeted Celina firefighters as they arrived at the scene of a duplex fire shortly before 3:30 a.m. today. Craig Heiser, 224 E. Anthony St., Celina, called 911 after spotting smoke inside the residence, which is owned by Ron Amstutz of Celina. Firefighters believe the blaze started in the attic then traveled down a wall to the first floor. The cause remains under investigation. Chief Doug Kuhn said Heiser's unit sustained moderate fire and heavy smoke damage while the adjoining unit received light smoke damage. No injuries were reported. Twenty-five firefighters and four trucks remained at the scene 31/2 hours.
