A portion of the new woodwork is showcased by one of the entranceways inside the newly-remodeled Mercer County Junior Fair building in Celina this week. Fair board officials say they need about $133,000 in donations to pay for the $232,659 renovation project that they financed with a loan. The building was made handicap-accessible and received a new ceiling, flooring, lighting and heat and air conditioning, as well as other upgrades. By late winter, it will be available to rent out, according to fairground Manager Steve Schulte.
