Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Pearl Archer
Pearl E. "Sue" Archer, 71, Lima, died at 1:59 a.m. Dec. 18, 2008, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born May 8, 1937, in Lima to Harold R. and Pauline Donehoo Steele. Her father survives. On May 17, 1956, she married Raymond Lee Archer Sr., who died July 10, 2000.
Surviving are four sons, Charles (Pam), Celina, Raymond (Sharon), Montezuma, and Patrick and Masslion "Mac" (Tiffany), all of Lima; two brothers, Richard (Linda), Ada, and Terry (Connie), Lebanon; four sisters, Mildred Laudick, Ada, Virginia (James) Spencer, Lima, Ellen (Dale) Redd, Upper Sandusky, and Pam (Paul) Wingate, Bluffton; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two infant brothers.
She had retired from Lima Manor Nursing Home and had previously worked at Bluffton Plastics. She was a member of New Hope Christian Church and had attended Bath Local Schools.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, the Rev. Mike Muhammad officiating. Burial is at Fairmount Cemetery, Waynesfield.
Calling is 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
