* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Northwestern Auglaize County in west central Ohio... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1218 AM EDT, radar indicated scattered thunderstorms developing which contain moderate to heavy rainfall. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area over the next hour or two. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... Celina, St. Marys, Coldwater, New Bremen, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Neptune, Carthagena, Bulkhead, State Route 116 at State Route 197, Chattanooga and Kossuth.

Mary Ann Schmackers
Mary Ann Schmackers, 82, of Briarwood Manor Nursing Home, Coldwater, died at 11 a.m. Jan. 1, 2009, at Briarwood Manor.
She was born Aug. 7, 1926, in Coldwater to John and Gertrude Wenning Reigelsperger.
On March 31, 1951, she married Victor H. Schmackers, who died Nov. 15, 1989.
Surviving are three sons, Rich (Marty), St. Henry, Dale (Sue), Carthagena, and Roger (Angie), Fort Recovery; four daughters, Elaine (Gene) Grube, Fort Recovery, Janice (Jerry) Buschur, Nancy (Denny) Muhlenkamp and Joyce (Dave) Bruns, all of St. Henry; a brother, Paul (Rita) Reigelsperger, Uniopolis; 40 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a son, Gary; five brothers, Clarence, Urban, Louie, Raymond and Walter; and a stepsister, Tillie Brandt.
She was a homemaker and a member of St. Henry Catholic Church and its Rosary Altar Sodality, the Daughters of Isabella and the American Legion Auxiliary, all in St. Henry, and Veterans of Foreign Wars and Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, both in Coldwater.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Monday at the church, the Rev. Tom Hemm officiating. Burial is at St. Henry Cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Sunday and 9-10 a.m. Monday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, St. Henry.
