* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ripley, Union and Wayne and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

Mary Jane Shaffer
Mary Jane Shaffer, 81, of Rockford, died Jan. 31, 2009, at her residence.
She was born Aug. 2, 1927, in Mendon, to Charles and Edna Mutersbaugh Fishbaugh. On Dec. 23, 1944, she married Richard I. Shaffer, who died Aug. 8, 1991.
Surviving are a son, Bruce (Kay), Rockford; four daughters, Barbara Ann (Royce) Williams and Bonnie, all of Rockford, Betty Lou (Freedus) Daniels, Spencerville, and Beverly (Phillip) Thorpe, Franklin, Ind.; a brother, Philip (Geri) Fishbaugh, Spencerville; two sisters, Josephine (Nick) Meade, Spring, Texas, and Edna Mae (Bill) Poor, Mendon; 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a sister, Isabelle Mauk.
She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. She was a member of Olive Branch Church of God, Rockford, and the Van Wert County Church Volleyball League. She had attended the former Mendon-Union High School.
Services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home, Mendon, the Rev. Paul Rutledge officiating. Burial is at Tomlinson Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
