* WHEN...From 7 PM EDT this evening through Monday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms producing heavy rain will impact the area overnight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected with locally higher amounts. The heavy rain combined with saturated ground will lead to potential flash flooding.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, State Route 117 near Route 118 north of Rockford is water-covered and closed.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 12:40 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 13.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 13.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage just after midnight tonight. - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

John Poeppelman
John N. Poeppelman, 73, of Yorkshire, died Feb. 25, 2009, at his home.
He was born September 14. 1935, in Yorkshire, to John T. and Ann Elizabeth Bornhorst Poeppelman. On Sept. 26, 1957, he married Joan A. Dirksen, who survives.
Other survivors are four sons, Steve (Agnes), Minster, Nick, Joe (Dorothy), and John L., all of Yorkshire; three brothers, Lawrence (Mercedes), Coldwater, Paul, Fort Loramie, and Thomas (Mary Ann), St. Henry; a sister-in-law Takako Poeppelman, Las Vegas, Nev.; a brother-in-law Alfred (Mildred) Borchers, Minster; nine grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Deceased are a daughter Debra; two brothers, Alphonse and Martin; and two sisters, Adella Hoying and Marcella Borchers.
He was a farmer and a Beck Hybrid Seed Dealer. He was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, and its Men's Sodality and an usher at the church.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial is at St. Martin Cemetery, Osgood.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Friday and 9-10 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster. A wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday.
Contributions can be made to State of the Heart Hospice of Darke County.
