Beryl Dolphin
Beryl Dolphin, 94, died March 13, 2009, at her home in San Diego.
She was born at home on the farm in Neptune to Ivan and Nelva Dury Davis. Her husband of 67 years, Delbert, died in 2000.
Surviving are a daughter, Jackie Greenlee; a son, Michael Dolphin, both of San Diego, Calif.; a sister-in-law, Polly Davis, Celina; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother M. Eugene Davis.
She graduated from the former Neptune High School in 1933. She received her bachelors degree from the Ohio State University in 1951, and her masters degree from San Diego State College in 1961. She worked at Sunset View Elementary School in Point Loma, Calif., as a fifth and sixth grade teacher. She was a member of the First Methodist Church, San Diego.
Arrangements were handled by Beardsley Mitchell Funeral Home, San Diego.
