Paul Meyer
Paul Eugene Meyer, 83, formerly of 4674 Fast Road, Celina, died at 2:20 a.m. Aug. 2, 2009, at the Gardens of Celina.
He was born March 12, 1926, in Hopewell Township to Wilson and Florence Luth Meyer. On July 12, 1947, he married Mary Ellen Putman, who died May 3, 2001.
Surviving are three sons, Craig (Ilona) Meyer, Kevin (Mary) Meyer and Marvin (Tammy) Meyer, all of Celina; a sister, Margaret Fisher, Celina; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
Deceased are an infant son, Keith; an infant daughter, Cheryl; and a brother-in-law, Don Fisher.
He was a farmer and Hopewell Township Trustee and worked as a milk hauler for Pet Milk. He retired from the former New Idea Company, Coldwater. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Hopewell Township and a member of Tama Fox Hunters.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Debra Domeier officiating. Burial is at Buck Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday and one hour before services Wednesday at the funeral home.
