Games, food and festivals go together
Photo by Margie Wuebker/The Daily Standard

August certainly means festival time throughout the area. Two-year-old Riley Masters of Celina enjoys a snow cone during a Saturday carnival at Lake Loramie State Park. With temperatures soaring into the 80s, snow cones proved to be a popular treat for children and adults attending the event sponsored by the Children's Activities Committee at the park followed closely by root beer floats. The carnival also marked the 60th anniversary of the state park system.
