Workers hoist a colorful tent to house one of numerous farm-related displays at the 157th Mercer County Fair. The fair opens Friday and continues through Aug. 20 with free entertainment, unlimited mechanical rides and general grandstand seating included in the $8 admission charge for age 5 and up.
