Marvin Vagedes
Marvin Harmon Vagedes, 76, died Sept. 14, 2009, in Wilmington, N.C.
He was born Jan. 4, 1933, in Coldwater. On Sept. 7, 1957, he married Barbara "Barb" Cummins, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Bridget (Timothy) Vagedes and a sister, Jeanene (Raymond) Kremer, Coldwater.
Deceased is a son, USMC Captain Michael M. Vagedes, who died in 1991.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in the Korean War and member of the Cape Golf and Racquet Club.
Memorial service is 3 p.m. Wednesday at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, in Wilmington, N.C., with full military honors.
Calling is 1-3 p.m. Wednesday at the Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, Wilmington, N.C.
