Scattered snow showers will continue through mid morning. With temperatures well below freezing, light snow accumulations will combine with lingering black ice from overnight, to create some slick spots on area roadways. In addition, brisk westerly winds will gust in the 25 to 35 mph range this morning.
If traveling this morning, allow for some extra time to reach your destination. Be prepared for slick conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses as well as untreated surfaces.

Norman Schnelle
Norman Schnelle, 401 W. South St., New Knoxville, died Sept. 24, 2009, at the Gardens at Wapakoneta.
Services are 3 p.m. Sunday at First United Church of Christ, New Knoxville, the Very Rev. Dr. David Williams officiating. Burial, with military rites, is at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery.
Calling is one hour prior to service Sunday in the Heritage Room of the church.
Arrangements are being handled by Vornholt-Miller Funeral Home, New Knoxville. Condolences may be sent to Millerfuneralhomes.net.
Harold Faller
Services for Harold J. "Boots" Faller were held Sept. 24, 2009, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, the Rev. Thomas Brenberger officiated. Organist was Cindy Van Santvoord, with singing by the Resurrection Choir.
Pallbearers to St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina, were Andy, Brian and Patrick Faller, Corey Schultz, Kevin Byrum and Paul Miller. Military honors were held at the graveside by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both of Celina.
Lehman-Hogenkamp-Dzendzel Funeral Home, Celina, handled arrangements.
