The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a
* Flash Flood Warning for... Mercer County in west central Ohio...
* Until 700 AM EDT.
* At 309 AM EDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Celina, Coldwater, St. Henry, Fort Recovery, Rockford, Wabash, Mendon, Chickasaw, Montezuma, Tama, Carthagena, Neptune, Chattanooga and Maria Stein.

Kathleen Hemmelgarn
Kathleen D. Hemmelgarn, 79, 1113 Yorkshire Court, Celina, died at 5:15 p.m. Sept. 27, 2009, at Celina Manor Nursing Home.
She was born Oct. 2, 1929, in Coldwater to Adolph and Clarissa Dillhoff Link. On June 25, 1949, she married Eugene Hemmelgarn, who died June 7, 2003.
Surviving are a daughter, Jane Seibert, Celina; a daughter-in-law, Dianne Hemmelgarn, Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Rosemary, Link, Celina; a sister-in-law, Evie Link, Colorado Springs, Colo.; and four grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Jeffry Hemmelgarn; and a brother, Arthur Link.
She worked at the former New Idea, Coldwater, and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina, and its Altar Rosary Sodality. She graduated from Coldwater High School.
Funeral Mass is 11 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Richard Riedel officiating. Burial is at St. Marys Catholic Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is Friday one hour prior to service at the church.
