Allen Spring Jr.
Allen V. Spring Jr., 54, 13682 Barrington Road, St. Marys, died at 3:43 p.m. Oct. 15, 2009, at his home following a short illness.
He was born Dec. 2, 1954, in Coldwater to Allen Sr. and Lucille Johnson Spring, who survive in New Knoxville. On Jan. 10, 1976, he married Rebecca Schneider who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Mark (Jenna) Spring, St. Marys; siblings, Rena (Tim) Miller, Waynesville, Mo., Candice Kaiser-Spring, Mason, Gary Spring, Celina, Phil (Nancy) Spring, Lebanon and Dan Spring, London; and a mother-in-law, Mary Schneider of Wapakoneta.
Deceased are a son, Eric Spring, and a father-in-law, Earl Schneider.
He was the owner of Spring Electronics Company and repaired musical instruments, amplifiers and other electronic equipment. He was a member of First Baptist Church in St. Marys, was a 1973 graduate of New Knoxville High School and was a graduate of Wright State University-Lake Campus.
Services are 11 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys, the Rev. Mark Foor officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Wapakoneta.
Calling is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
