Doug Reinhart, Auglaize County engineer, answers questions from landowners along the Minster canal Tuesday morning. County and local officials met to view an unsightly portion of the Miami and Erie Canal near the intersection of state Route 119 and Canal Road. They are seeking a cleanup of the historic waterway by means of a ditch petition filed recently with the county commissioners.
